The San Diego based musician Elise Trouw is a gifted singer-songwriter who has been driven by ambition since childhood.
She learned to play the piano with the wish to play “My Immortal” by Evanescence. At that time she was just 6 years old.
She started playing the drums at the age of 10 after Elise discovered her passion for the instrument through the computer game Rock Band.
Although she had been under contract with Pacific Records since 2015, she left the label and kept all rights to her music by buying out of the contract.
In 2016 she released the singles “X Marks the Spot”, “She Talking”, “Your Way” and “Burn”.
In 2017 she released her debut album entitled “Unravelling” on her own label. The multi-instrumentalist played drums, guitar, bass and of course vocals. She celebrated the release and her 18th birthday at The Loft at the University of California.
Elise performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! She was the first artist to perform on the circular Lobby Stage. There she performed her song Awake and a mashup of songs from the Foo Fighters and Bobby Caldwell.
SoundDiego (NBC 7 San Diego) selected Elise Trouw as one of the best new bands in 2016 and as a “Breakout Artist” in 2017
