An incredibly open, transparent, neutral and yet dynamic sound, my go-to for drums, definitely and almost always for toms.
I’ve always been a huge fan of the OC7, such a versatile microphone, rugged build with uncompromising quality, my current favourite though is the new OC-B6, I changed my usual kick out mic for this in the middle of a tour run and was blown away by the immediate increase of definition and rich low end.
