The OC818 is fast becoming a favourite with me. Love it on guitars and it’s with me constantly on the road for vocal overdubs . It wins with pretty much anything I throw at it. Great build quality and super flexibility, that good I actually bought two.

Andy Sneap is a British musician, songwriter, and renowned producer in the realm of heavy metal music. Born on July 18, 1969, in Derbyshire, England, Sneap initially gained recognition as the guitarist for the influential British thrash metal band Sabbat, which he joined in the late 1980s. Sabbat released several albums during Sneap’s tenure, including the critically acclaimed “Dreamweaver (Reflections of Our Yesterdays)” in 1989.

However, it is Sneap’s exceptional talent as a producer and audio engineer that has truly solidified his reputation in the metal community. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the genre, including Judas Priest, Megadeth, Accept, and Arch Enemy, among many others. Sneap’s production style is characterized by its clarity, power, and precision, earning him praise for his ability to capture the essence of a band’s sound while enhancing it with his own expertise.
