Cobra Spell is an international heavy metal/hard rock band that emerged in 2019, heavily influenced by the flamboyant and hook-driven sound of the 1980s. Founded by guitar phenomenon Sonia Anubis (ex-Crypta, ex-Burning Witches), the band set out to create music with “flamboyant guitar extravaganza, unique stage looks and crazy on stage antics.”
Currently signed to Napalm Records, Cobra Spell’s lineup features Kristina Vega on lead vocals, Sonia Anubis and Adri Funérailles on guitars, Bel Mena on bass, and Hale Naphtha on drums. They quickly gained attention with their EPs, “Love Venom” (2020) and “Anthems of the Night” (2022), before unleashing their debut full-length album, “666,” in 2023.
Cobra Spell aims to transport listeners back to the era when rock bands dominated arenas, delivering a blend of heavy metal and glam metal with a fresh, rebellious spirit. They are known for their powerful performances and a mission to challenge conventions and champion freedom of expression.
