I remember trying out these mics for the first time at NAMM 2022 like it was yesterday, they naturally captured the low end in my vocals, which is something i am always looking for! As well as a mic that is sensitive enough for my Voice Acting jobs but can also handle my loud belting. I track vocals using my Hi-X60 Headphones, which provide the clarity I need and just enough isolation for the outside world.
American from North to South, vocal chameleon Aliice was born in LA but raised in Chile, where she participated on the internationally acclaimed television show The Voice and wrote her first solo EP, which has been used as a soundtrack to multiple tv shows in the US and has also opened the door to being a supportive LGBTQ ally at Pride events around the world. Aliice started her solo career in Spain after having signed with a label in Barcelona, where she filmed her first music videos and performed live for the first time as a solo act at World Pride Madrid. Now Aliice is back, taking LA by storm performing the national anthem before major sporting events, for the Dodgers, Lakers, Clippers and others, while she writes her new album.
Aliice is a rising star in the LA music scene, known for her sultry vocals, catchy melodies, and honest lyrics. From an early age, she was drawn to artists such as Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, Stevie Wonder, Steven Tyler and many others, who influenced her unique style and intensity.
The name Aliice is based on the singer’s history; daughter to renowned Voice Actor Lennie Weinrib, who played beloved childhood characters such as Scrappy Doo and HR Pufnstuf, the singer began her vocal journey through voice acting and cartoon character creations, and later on became the front woman to a Rock band in South America. Combining her love of cartoons and Rock she coined the name Aliice, uniting both worlds, her favorites being Alice in Wonderland and Grunge band Alice In Chains. And so Aliice was born, keeping an “I” from each world.
Aliice’s music is a blend of powerful soulful vocals and Pop, with a contemporary twist she calls Cinematic Angry Pop, as no other genre seemed fitting. Her debut single, “Bitter,” was released in 2017 and quickly gained traction due to the singer’s expressive vocal range and empowering lyrics.
In addition to her musical talents, Aliice is also a skilled songwriter, voice actor and vocal coach in Los Angeles. She is involved in every aspect of the music-making process, from writing lyrics and melodies to the accompanying aesthetic to each release.
