If I could only have one microphone on my next production it would surely be the 818.
Colin actually doesn't do quotes ;) He tested the OC818 on drums Overheads at the production rehearsal, was very happy with the results and decided to use the mics on the Herbert Grönemeyer stadium tour Europe 2019.
I tested lots of different microphones for my specific case until I found the OD505.
I remember trying out these mics for the first time at NAMM 2022 like it was yesterday, they naturally captured the low end in my vocals, which is something i am always looking for! As well as a mic that is sensitive enough for my Voice Acting jobs but can also handle my loud belting.
