I was at the legendary Rockfield Studios in January, recording a full band setup, and have the OC818 in dual capsule mode in front of the kit.
The 818s are absolutely stunning! Not only they sound incredible on pretty much any source but they give me extreme flexibility to shape my sounds after the recording through PolarDesigner and Stereo Creator.
