The OC818 has become my favorite multipurpose, first-choice microphone. I can record vocals, acoustic instruments, electric guitars, and drums with it. It offers great sound and build quality, allowing you to work in all environments.
Over the course of 20+ years, Hertz Recording Studio, founded and operated by Wojtek Wieslawski and Sławek Wieslawski, has worked with artists in almost every genre of music. They have collaborated with more than 350 bands, including notable acts such as Behemoth, Decapitated, Hate, Hour of Penance, Vader, and many more.
The studio, led by the Wiesławski brothers, has earned a reputation for producing albums with a polished yet aggressive sound, helping these bands achieve international acclaim. Their work on Behemoth’s The Satanist is particularly notable and is widely regarded as one of the most influential metal albums of the decade.
Recordings made at Hertz have reached the top 50 on the Billboard charts and won Fryderyk awards twice (the most prestigious Polish music honor). Additionally, during the streaming era, they achieved double platinum status with over 140 million YouTube streams.
