Glueboys
"We're more than happy with the mics! They give us the perfect sound to really get the crowd going, and since we switched to the OD505 capsules, our sound engineer has had a much easier time getting our voices to cut through the massive instrumentals."
Hailing from the scenic Pinzgau region in Salzburg, the Glueboys are a three-piece Austrian sensation that has successfully blurred the lines between ironic party-pop and genuine musical craftsmanship. Founded in 2019 by childhood friends Isaak Kaserer, Maximilian Stöckl, and Arthur Gobber, the group famously brands themselves as the “worst boyband in Austria”—a title that stands in sharp contrast to their massive streaming numbers and sold-out festival appearances.
Their musical journey began with a mix of reggae and hip-hop, rooted in their local dialect, but they truly found their stride by embracing a high-energy “Alpine-Dance” sound. The 2021 hit “Baccei Cola” served as their major breakthrough, catapulting them from local ski huts to the main stages of iconic festivals like Nova Rock and Electric Love.
What sets the Glueboys apart is their ability to balance the “Schmäh” (the specific Austrian sense of humor) with professional production. Operating their own recording studio in Vienna, they maintain full creative control over their sound, which ranges from traditional tavern-style anthems to modern electronic beats.
