I came across the austrian audio mics in search of a new tom mic. The OD5 struck my eye, but when I got ahold of it I was feeling guitars. I tried the OD5 and the OC7 and IMMEDIATELY without hesitation fell completely in love with the OC7 on guitars. Smooth rich midrange while handling the sludgy low end of heavy distorted guitars, and an airy top end that doesn't feel hyped or artificial. A very natural sounding microphone, It feels like it breathes the source. OC7 is my new go-to guitar amp microphone, I don't want to do a show without it!

Touring FOH mixing engineer. I started playing music at 5, grew up playing in bands and I was always the one with the enthusiasm to record the projects. I eventually went to the Recording Workshop in 2001 to kickstart my love for recording. I moved to NYC in 2004, working around town in small clubs where I figured out my passion for Live Music. I moved over to touring around 2010 and never looked back. Mixing a show I feel like the best version of myself, Very in love with what I get to do for a living!
Currently mixing Neon Trees, Helmet, Billy Bragg, & The Faint.
