“The Hajj” is a two-piece Psychedelic Eastern Jam Punk band formed by brothers Philip and Freddie, originating from Limassol, Cyprus, with Armenian and Lebanese heritage. Their musical odyssey began in Saudi Arabia during their youth, exposing them to diverse soundscapes and fostering a passion for creating distinctive melodies. They officially embarked on their musical career in Ottawa, Canada, in 2000 with their first band, Clepto, expanding their influences. Relocating to Southern California in 2010, they established “The Hajj” in 2017, touring extensively across the United States, Canada, and Cyprus, with over 300 shows to their credit.
Their sound blends cultural roots with heavy Punk and Rock elements, characterized by live improvisation and meaningful lyrics. Operating as a DIY band, they independently tour, record, and release music. With one album and a split Vinyl record released “The Hajj” aims to push their musical journey to new heights, inviting listeners to join them on their unique pilgrimage of blending heritage, punk attitude, and rock ‘n’ roll spirit.

Located in West Anaheim, California, Orange County Sound Studios has been operating since 2017 as the go-to studio in Orange County! Owned by brothers Philip and Freddie, the studio offers a comprehensive range of services including recording, podcasting, video production, and mastering, catering to diverse clientele. Additionally, OC Sound has 15 hourly and monthly rehearsal spaces for bands and artists to come in and practice.
Providing a creative and inspiring atmosphere, the studio was created by musicians for musicians and aims to continuously improve the experience in-studio and as a creative space!
