The OCC8 is a replacement cable for the Austrian Audio OC818 condenser microphone. This mini XLR connects to the rear membrane of the OC818’s dual-diaphragm capsule. The front membrane is output via a standard XLR plug. Working in dual mode, each diaphragm can be routed and recorded to separate tracks, making possible the post-production modification of polar patterns using our PolarDesigner plug-in.
