Like other Austrian Audio mics we’ve tested, the off-axis response and rear rejection capability are stellar, with no resonant or scooped colouration of sounds reaching the mic at the null points of the polar pattern.

The microphone’s original swivel joint design offers 220º rotation for maximum flexibility and accuracy in even the tightest spaces. The OCC7 capsule and transformerless output gives the OC7 a remarkably linear frequency response, handling extremely high sound pressure levels (SPL) of up to 154 dB (160 dB with pad), without distorting.
